What happens to our waste?

"All waste collected goes to the sanitary landfill category 2 present in Surigao city "

Why is waste pollution still present even if waste management is "implemented".

Based on the data gathered by the researchers, the government does collect waste and manages it, however we can still see and experience waste pollution, therefore the solution is not enough, and there is a reason for this.

Before waste becomes managed and reaches treatment or sanitary landfill facilities, it all starts with us and how we dispose of and manage our own waste.

waste disposal  is within each person how they dispose and manage their waste and have no control over how they dispose of it, but in terms of waste collection, we have a plan to add garbage collection points in each area within a certain time to improve garbage collection efficiency. this is included in the new ordinance which is currently being reviewed by the local government.
